French Feast Academy

Travel to a small village in 1940s France and follow the adventures of an American boy who finds himself in the middle of a plot to destroy his family heritage.

This beautiful and action-packed story introduces French phrases throughout in a naturally immersive way.  Each chapter builds upon the others and at the end, we will read entirely in French!

By the end of our time together, you will:

• Immerse yourself in French culture and history

• Explore Saint-Chamant, France

• Narrate the story in French with good pronunciation

• Engage with others over the discussion of a living book

We will meet 4 times this Summer to narrate the story to each other using the French we learn throughout.  With my guidance and group practice, you'll be delighted at how much you can speak while engaging with this living book.

 

You will receive audio, cultural, and vocabulary resources from me in between our meetings to make our times together full of robust conversation.​

This is one of my favorite books to read with my students and this time, I'm opening it up for whole families to participate together!

**All levels are welcome.  We will adjust narrations based on your level of French!**
