I fell in love with French at UCLA where I received a double major in French and Art History.  It was the love of art and French culture that motivated me to keep learning and to become a French teacher.  I received my teaching credential to teach in the public high school setting where I taught all levels, from French 1 to AP until my first child was born.

Teaching French comes out of my own passion for the language and culture.  And as a life-long learner myself, I believe that the learning French can be done in a living way!  I use art, music, living books, poetry, and other cultural insights to draw students into this wonderful journey.

My greatest joy in teaching has been educating my three kids at home, who are now adults and almost adults!  Nothing delights my husband and I more than calling our own children our brothers and sister in Christ.  Loving our Savior together is our greatest joy!

I love traveling with my family, being out in nature, serving at my church with my husband, reading Wendell Berry, and I'm always planning my family's next trip to France.
