Bonjour
I learned French accidentally! While studying Art History at UCLA, I took one French class and was hooked with the immense beauty of the language. I picked it up as a double major and now I have been practicing French for almost 30 years.
I taught in the public high school but now I get to teach homeschool families all over the world. It is my favorite to meet so many like-minded homeschool moms.
Teaching French comes out of my own passion for the language and culture. And as a life-long learner myself, I believe that the learning French can be done in a living way! I use art, music, living books, poetry, and other cultural insights to draw students into this wonderful journey. A truly Charlotte Mason inspired way of learning.
My greatest joy in teaching has been educating my three kids at home, who are now adults and almost adults! Nothing delights my husband and I more than calling our own children our brothers and sister in Christ. Loving our Savior together is our greatest joy!
I love traveling with my family, being out in nature, serving at my church with my husband, reading Wendell Berry & C.S. Lewis, and I'm always planning my family's next trip to France.
