Welcome to French 3A, a year-long continuation course of the French program. Students in this course will build upon the vocabulary and grammar learned in French 2B.
By the end of this school year, my goal is to have you communicating in French with greater fluency and detail about vacations, school, professions, fairy tales & stories, and relationships. You will also continue to master the present, past (passé composé), imperfect, future, conditional, subjunctive tenses while also learning to read the passé simple.
We will read and memorize a variety of poetry and short prose. And as always, we will study French art, music, and learn about different landmarks in Paris, different French regions, and other Francophone countries.
I am excited to see how my students will build upon what they have learned and feel more confident in their use of the language in this class.
* All classes will be recorded and a link will be sent out each week for review or in case of absence.
